WHO I AM
University Professor Ralph Mösges, M.D. Ph.D. FAAAAI an otorhinolaryngologist and allergologist, is the Medical Director of ClinCompetence Cologne GmbH. Before, he was the chairman of the Institute of Medical Statistics, Informatics and Epidemiology (IMSIE, now IMSB) at the University Hospital of the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne, Germany. His current research fields are allergic and infectious diseases of the upper airways, epidemiology and clinical pharmacology.
Ralph Mösges is the author and editor of ten books and has published more than 400 articles in major journals. He is in the editorial board of Heliyon a journal of Cell Press and The Journal of Clinical Medicine.
He serves as a member of the guidelines committee of the German Academy of Otorhinolaryngology for the development of guidelines in rhinosinusitis and in sudden deafness. He chaired the ENT-section of the European Academy of Allergy and currently chairs a task force of this scientific association.

It was founded as CRI Ltd. in 2006 by Prof. Ralph Mösges in Hamburg, Germany. In 2019 the company was transformed into ClinCompetence Cologne GmbH.

Educational Experience
Ralph Mösges has completed studies in the fields of electrical engineering, and medicine at the University of Aachen, Germany, and has received a diploma in engineering, a master degree in public administration and a doctoral degree in medicine. He worked in the fields of pulmonology and otorhinolaryngology and has received advanced degrees in otorhinolaryngology, allergology, and medical informatics. He holds a PhD degree in medical informatics.
COMMITTEES
He was the chairman of the International Standardization Committee for the Objective Assessment of the Upper Airways (ISCOANA), a task force of the International Rhinologic Society (IRS) and serves as a member of the guidelines committee of the German Academy of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and he is also a member of the task forces for the development of guidelines in rhinosinusitis and in sudden deafness of this scientific society. Professor Mösges is a member of the German and European Academies of Allergy and Rhinology and a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
He chaired the board of the ENT-section of the European Academy of Allergy.
